All LeCroy protocol solutions include a Software Maintenance Agreement and license keys that entitle you to receive software updates and support for the particular LeCroy protocol analyzer listed in the agreement at no additional charge during the term of the agreement.

Downloading and using this version of LeCroy Tracer software with your analyzer requires a current Software Maintenance Agreement. Each LeCroy Software Maintenance Agreement is unique to a particular LeCroy analyzer; i.e. the license key is linked to the Serial Number of the analyzer. After download and during initial operation, the software automatically checks the analyzer for a valid license key. If the key is unavailable or has expired, you will be informed that a new key is required. The software will continue to function as a trace viewer until a valid license key is installed. If you have multiple LeCroy analyzers, you will need to obtain a current Maintenance Agreement for each unit. However, any LeCroy software application may be downloaded and installed on multiple computers. These copies will function only with the LeCroy analyzer identified in the Maintenance Agreement; with other analyzer units the copies will operate in Trace Viewer mode only.
